Kathmandu : The 13th central committee (CC) meeting of the ruling CPN (UML) ended on Saturday, approving the five-point organisational proposal.

The meeting approved the organisational proposal tabled by party general secretary Ishwar Pokharel. As approved, party membership should be renewed and the record be submitted to the party central office by July 20.

Similarly, party’s statute convention would be held on August 9 to 11 in Kathmandu. For this, party chairman would prepare the political document; general secretary would prepare organisational proposal; party organisation department chief would prepare proposal statute amendment document; and leader Ram Bahadur Thapa would lead the management committee. Furthermore, party’s ward level conventions would be conducted on August 21.

Similarly, the meeting has urged the entire party organisation to prepare for the general elections.
