Kathmandu : Thirteen international flights were made at Tribhuvan International Airport today alone. According to the Airport Office, 13 flights including rescue flights of different airlines, medical and air bubble were determined.

As per the data provided by the Airport, highest seven flights of Nepal Airlines Corporation have been determined while four have been determined for Himalaya Airlines.

Nepal Airlines is scheduled to make one flight each to Beijing and Shenzhen of China, two to Damam and one to Riyadh of Saudi Arabia. There will be a regular flight to New Delhi of India.

Similarly, Himalaya Airlines would make three flights to Kunming of China and one to Dammam. Sichuwan Air is bringing cargo to Kathmandu from Chengdu while Kathmandu-Delhi chartered flight has been made.

Ten flights of helicopters and airlines would be operated towards domestic sector. Rescue, chartered and cargo flights have been made towards domestic and international sectors during the prohibitory period.

The government has suspended international flights from May 6 in order prevent and control Covid-19 pandemic. Similarly, domestic flights have been suspended from April 29.
