UML task force’s first meeting concludes
Kathmandu : The first meeting of the task force formed to settle the CPN (UML)’s intra-party disputes concluded with the decision of preparing working procedure, jurisdiction and code of conduct.
The meeting that took place at Singh Durbar today concluded with these decisions and will again meet on Wednesday. According to taskforce member leader Dr Bhim Rawal, the meeting has appealed to all leaders and cadres to keep intact the party unity narrowing down the gap and perception regarding the two factions.
UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had agreed to form a ten-member task force to resolve intra-party disputes last week. The task force is assigned to forge consensus to take the party to the previous organizational structure before the party unity between UML and CPN (Maoist Centre).
